Dan Porter is a Senior Advisor of Irving Place Capital. Mr. Porter focuses on investment opportunities in specialty consumer finance sector. Prior to joining Irving Place Capital in 2004, Mr. Porter served as Chairman and CEO of WMC Mortgage, a leading non-prime, wholesale mortgage company, from October 2003 to June 2004, when it was acquired by GE Capital. From 1999 to 2003, Mr. Porter was Chairman and CEO of Wells Fargo Financial Services. From 1986 to 1999, he worked at GE Capital and held CEO and senior executive positions in automobile, private label credit card and commercial financing businesses. Previously, Mr. Porter was a management consultant at Booz, Allen and Hamilton Inc.
